Achievements
Vishal Rajput hails from the Hindu Community of Pakistan. He is 38 years old and was born in the city of Hyderabad, Sindh. He completed schooling at the Beaconhouse School System and moved on to study Bachelors in Film and Television at the National College of Arts, Lahore, where he also taught as an adjunct lecturer after securing a distinction on his thesis film.
Shortly after graduation he was invited to the opening night of the Sundance Film Festival via Indiegogo and Distribber in 2011.
He began work at Adcom Leo-Burnett in Lahore, in 2013, where he developed creative materials for advertising Honda and Samsung. He has accomplished a few video presentations and documentaries for the US Consulate in Lahore, United States Institute of Peace, the Government of Pakistan and the Armed Forces of Pakistan; one under the aegis of his alma mater for the Victoria Albert Museum in London in 2015 for Kipling’s Lahore. He produced video materials for the Astana Energy Expo, Kazakhstan, in 2017.
He moved to Canada in 2017, and was University of Regina’s graduate scholarship recipient. He was selected by FUJIFILM Canada to test their GFX-100 Digital Large Format Cameras in 2021. His gift to King Charles III was met with acclaim and appreciation in 2023.
Vishal resides in Vancouver and his artistic journey continues.
